On registering for the competitions through the form below, you will receive instructions about the competition in the registered mail id.

Registration Fee:
Rs. 250/- per competition
Rs. 100/- for the accompanist (for Mask-it and Nail-it competitions)

Think Different

For all those who want to make a difference. If you are the creator of anything that you think is an innovation/creative solution, this is the place for you to send in your entries and win exciting prizes. It may be a new product that makes your work easy or an idea to recycle waste.

The entries should include pictures of the product, a video of it functioning (if required) and a brief write up explaining the concept and idea behind the product. Send in your entries to [email protected] id mentioning Think Different in the subject line and your name in the mail. You will be evaluated for the most outstanding and extraordinary idea.

A Ride with LADYBIRD

Celebrating 25 years of the Ladybird cycle, show us the PRIDE TO RIDE THE LADYBIRD from your experience/journey or of that you have heard or seen. It can be a Video, Animation or Poster. Make your ideas go viral under the banner of big brands- TI CYCLES, India’s first bicycle company and DOT SCHOOL OF DESIGN, 1st exclusive design college in Chennai.

Video to be 1-3 minutes in Mov/mp4 format. Poster can be manual/digital

Point and Shoot

Mobile Photography. A camera is just a tool for your creation, let's create photographs with the simplest camera in our houses. Choose any mobile with a camera and unleash your creative skills. Explore the world around you through the simplest lens you find around you. Maximum 2 photos per registration. Auto focus

One single shot with a narrative expression or a single shot video exploring the experimental capacities of the medium.

1. The duration has to be a maximum of 3 minutes.
2. There should be no cuts in the video or film.
3. The final video has
to be submitted in either mp4 or MOV format.
4. The film or video can be shot with a camera or Mobile Phone.
5. The credits of the film need to contain the title and name of the crew members if there is more than one involved in the making.
6. The link of the completed film needs to be shared in a cloud drive before the be 1st of June

This pre-event competition is only for school students from 5th to 12th in three categories.
Theme: Create a composition that you think represents the True spirit of Chennai.
Requirements:
Medium: watercolour on paper.
Size A3 - landscape.
Each participant can upload up to two entries each.
The composition has to be neatly photographed, the entries have to be submitted in Jpeg format to [email protected] id on or before the 28th of May 2022 mentioning Splash!!! in the subject line and your name in the mail.

VLOG YOUR JUNE 04. Vlog your fun observations of the whole day and send them to us. Participants of the convention taking part in this competition can shoot, document the events and submit a video at the end of the competition. Playfulness and experimentation in the form of the video is encouraged. Participants are expected to be imaginative within the given constraints. Duration and other technical constraints will be given prior to the event

Participants enrolling for the Design category are allowed to showcase two looks. Model and stylist will be provided by us. In case you wish to bring your own model, they will have to be registered under the model category. The competition consists of two rounds,

Participants enrolling in this category will be required to be present for three days, June 2-4.
