Students are assessed based on their performance in assignments, projects, presentations, and internships through the course of a semester. A panel of academicians and industry professionals closely monitor their progress and capabilities in the theoretical and practical curriculum.
DOT School of Design has a student-friendly campus that is conducive to the overall progress of our students. Students have unlimited access to a very resourceful library, a hygienic canteen, comfortable hostels, and a spacious outdoor amphitheatre. We also provide high-speed internet access and transportation facilities.
Our campus is open to visitors, prospective students, and staff from Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM.

We offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. Here are the complete details:

  1. UNDERGRADUATE - B.Des (4 years) - Interior Design, Fashion Design, Communication Design, Industrial Design, BFA (4 years) in Visual Arts.
  2. POSTGRADUATE M.Des (2 years) - Interior & Furniture Design.
  3. DIPLOMA: UG DIPLOMA (1 Year) - Modular Interior Furniture, Fashion Design, Photography, Interior Decoration and Design, Fine Arts (Painting and Sculpture).
  4. PG DIPLOMA (1 Year) – Fashion Design, Graphic Design, UX Design
  5. PG DIPLOMA (2 Years) - Textile Design, Film and Video Communication

DOT-DAT is an exam applicable for students seeking admission to the DOT School of Design. The exam comprises two rounds:

  1. Creative Quotient Test / Technical Test 
  2. On Table Test.

On qualifying, candidates enter into Personal Interview and Portfolio Submission.

FAQ on fashion design

You may not be eligible for B.Des. But DOT School of Design offers a UG Diploma course for you. Candidates who have completed the 10th grade can take up a one-year Diploma in Fashion Designing. You can check the eligibility criteria for each degree at  https://www.dotsod.in/admissions/

DOT School Of Design offers a B.Des course in Fashion Designing for candidates who have just successfully completed their 12th grade / HSC / Equivalent diploma . The course is designed to teach all the basics one must pursue towards a career in Fashion Designing.

Any candidate who has successfully completed 10th std and a Diploma Of Minimum 3 Years are eligible to join B.Des in DOT School Of Design.

Eligible candidates have to undertake DOT-DAT (Design Aptitude Test) conducted by DOT. Check on https://www.dotsod.in/quotient-test/ for more information about the test.

Our courses are carefully designed to stay relevant to the changing trends and practices in design. We regularly update our theoretical and practical curriculum to ensure that our students are primed to succeed upon graduation. Our course curricula are designed and developed under the guidance of industry experts.
Having a talent for drawing is not a mandatory prerequisite for a Fashion Designing course. All the basic sketching techniques are taught during the course.
