One Year Course
During the course, the student will gain the necessary skills to articulate the requirements from the client and visualise it using information architecture and wireframing techniques, to involve the client in the design process. They shall be trained to transform these low fidelity wireframes to high quality User interfaces and coordinate with the software engineer to bring these solutions to life. The student will be taught to work in the real world working teams to prepare them for the modern multidisciplinary workplace.

  • MODE OF SELECTION - DOT-DAT(Design Aptitude Test) Personal Interview & Portfolio Submission
  • PREREQUISITE /ELIGIBILITY -
    • Successful completion of Undergraduate program of minimum 3-year duration in any specialization or Successful completion of Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design after 10+2 system from any university or institute recognized by the government of India.
    • A strong portfolio in the specific field of application is mandatory.
What is the fee structure for this course?
The fee prescribed for this course is Rs.90,000/- which is inclusive of the entire course of study.
Do You Need Mathematics for UI/UX designing?
Mathematics is generally not required for UI/UX designing. But in some cases, basic mathematics & logic such as understanding the coordinate system and basic geometry would be helpful. Even if you are interested in working with architecture and other sectors you need the basics of mathematics.
What is the duration of this course?
PG Diploma in UI/UX is a one-year course custom-made for individuals from various backgrounds of specialization.
What are the Selection Criteria for PG Diploma in UI/UX design?

DOT School of Design conducts DOT-DAT (Design Aptitude Test) applicable for students interested to start their Design education at DOT. DOT-DAT comprises two levels –

  • Written Examination :
    Round 1 - Technical Test
    Round 2 - On Table Test
  • Personal Interview & Portfolio Submission

A total of 15 seats are allocated for the PG Diploma course in UI/UX design.
